Ashley Legault
MSW RSW
I believe that wellness is more than the absence of struggle; it is the ability to feel connected, grounded, and empowered in our lives. As a Registered Social Worker and Therapist, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their challenges, deepen their self-understanding, and develop the tools they need to move toward greater balance, resilience, and overall wellness. I believe that healing is a personal journey, and my role is to walk alongside each individual with curiosity, empathy, and respect for their unique experiences.
Ashley Legault is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She completed her Master of Social Work (2018) and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2010) at Eastern Michigan University. Ashley has been working with adult clients in clinical settings since 2018, supporting them through a variety of mental health concerns and life challenges.
Ashley works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, family and relationship challenges, and difficulties adjusting to major life transitions. She takes a person-centered and eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. This flexibility allows her to tailor her approach to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and life experiences.
Outside of her work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her little one and family, preparing a home-cooked meal, walking along the Lynn Valley Trail, or catching a sunset down at the pier. She believes that nurturing our own wellness is an important part of living a balanced and meaningful life.
